Verifiable credentials connector

The Verifiable Credentials Connector connects multiple SSI, DID, and Verifiable Credentials. An application can use it to enable the cross-chain identity controller to initiate a verification request for any Verifiable Credential supported by Stargazer.

Stargazer doesn't function as an issuer or verifier of these credentials. Instead, our role is to initiate the request for verification, a process that is guided by the unique SDK provided by each individual issuer.

In terms of data handling, Stargazer maintains a strict policy of not storing or processing verifiable credentials and cyphered, or encrypted, data, thereby prioritizing the security and privacy of our users.

Stargazer stores connections between what we refer to as 'cross-chain identity' and the verifiable credentials that are connected to it. The application has the capability to initiate the verification of these credentials, but this is only done in accordance with the actual permissions that have been granted.

The cross-chain identity controllers, has the ability to set up permissions for the verifiable credential. They also have the power to unlink these credentials from the cross-chain identity, providing an additional layer of control and security.

Currently, the documentation for this system is in the testing phase. However, we invite interested parties to reach out to us at info@stargazer.domains to become an early tester.
