Mapping
The mapping functionality serves as a tool for establishing a real-time connection between a credential and the corresponding cross-chain identity. The credential can be situated on various networks that are associated with that particular cross-chain identity. This essentially means that the mapping service acts as a bridge, linking credentials to their respective cross-chain identities across a multitude of different networks in real-time.
Mapping provides access for on-chain data and credentials that constitute cross-chain identity. The data accessible within this abstraction includes a variety of elements:
Web3 names across supported chains.
Wallets across supported chains.
Social credentials, which list a user's social accounts on supported platforms.
Email addresses.
NFT avatars.
Tokens held.
Transactions made.
Wallets, smart comtracts and cross-chain identities interacted.
Social graphs.
Total balance, including all assets and holdings.
Web3 messaging methods.
SSI/DID.
Verifiable credentials.
